Training STUDENT INTERNSHIPS Internships are available for a limited number of students at the 2010 Art and Science of Health Promotion Conference, March 15-19, 2010, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. At the conference, interns will work approximately 30 hours at a variety of duties, such as assisting speakers, working at the registration desk or in the exhibit hall. Interns will have access to all conference program events, as their individual schedule will allow. Interns will have the option of working at the Core Conference, or the Intensive Training Seminars. Interns will receive a free pass to the Core Conference if they work at the conference and to the Intensive Training Seminars if they work at the Intensive Training Seminars. Interns are responsible for all expenses they incur in conjunction with the conference, including transportation and lodging, however we have negotiated discount hotel rates for interns. Examples of Intern Duties:
2. An email from a professor confirming that you are a registered student at their institution. Student interns will be selected in January. At that time, selected students will complete a Student Internship Registration.
